We are pleased to celebrate the completion of our bell tower renovation as a wonderful testimony of God’s faithfulness to His people! The tower had been sorely in need of fresh paint and repairs which we were able to have done as well as recreating the crenelation that had once topped the tower. The crenelation can just be seen at the edge of this old photo.
As part of the renovation, the old windows from the second story were removed and replaced with stained glass windows that had been put into storage many years ago during an expansion project. These windows were cleaned, painted, and mounted into the tower.
Then on a foggy morning in July a crane lifted the prefabricated crenelation into place! That was an exciting morning. Then after some small repairs and fresh paint, the tower was complete. Our hope is that the tower would stand as a symbol of God’s faithfulness as well as a beacon of His light to the community.
