Each Easter some of our St. George churches join together to share special Holy Week services. This is a wonderful opportunity to join with fellow believers and neighbors beyond our individual church walls and experience the blessing of the family of God as we mark the final days of Jesus Christ before his death and resurrection. Everyone is invited and welcome and we hope to see you at the following services:
Music
A special service of music will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, at the Port Clyde Baptist Church. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Easter through song. Service will begin at 6 pm.
Good Friday Service
The Good Friday Service will be held here at Port Clyde Christian Church on April 14th at 6 pm. This service will be a time to reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during this service as well.
Sunrise Service
Celebrate our risen Savior! This special service is held at the Marshall Point Lighthouse each year. As we watch the sun rise on April 16th, we’ll lift our voices in praise of the One whom death could not hold! This brief service will begin at 5:45 am.
Easter Breakfast
Following the Sunrise Service is a community breakfast hosted by the First Baptist Church of St. George this year and held at the Wiley’s Corner Grange Hall.
Easter Worship
Port Clyde Christian Church’s worship service on Easter will begin at 10 am. We invite you to join us for this special time of celebration and praise of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
(There will be no Adult or Children’s Sunday School on Easter Sunday.)
